THE GOLDEN RULE – THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE

The fundamental principle that our group is guided by is the freedom of choice. Most of our members are adults – we all have work, family, and our own affairs to attend to. The faction's command is fully aware of this, which is why there is no mandatory chores of having to play a certain number of hours per week or per month in the Winged Hussars. Games are meant to be enjoyable and fun, not a second job – and we try to do our best to not restrict this enjoyment for anyone. Our dedicated web application also allows for a "holiday" if we take a longer break from Elite.

The same applies to the style of play and what we do in the game. None of the tasks and actions that we organize are mandatory, because the group's basic goal is to unite the Polish community. In this regard, we allow any style of play. Whether you are a trader, a pirate, a murderer, or a miner, whether you support the Empire, the Alliance, or the Federation – as long as you do not act against the community and our faction, either through your actions in the game, or your behaviour outside of it (e.g. on the forums or social media, etc.), you have free rein when it comes to the game.

Of course, this does not mean that our community is not guided by certain rules. The Faction Regulations apply, as well as certain restrictions that are sometimes introduced to fulfil the faction’s expansion goals or due to the ongoing political and diplomatic situation.
